Building Oral Health Training Tools for Illinois Providers

Dental care is often out of reach for families due to cost, transportation, or access barriers. ICAAP wanted to create an instructional video for pediatric clinicians that demonstrated how to apply Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) in-office as a simple, effective way to address cavities and oral health concerns without a dental referral. The goal was to build a clear, easy-to-follow resource that could train providers quickly and confidently.

Showcasing Real-World Application Through Professional Video Production

Ocreative collaborated with ICAAP to bring the training to life:

  • Secured a Subject Matter Expert & Location: to serve as the model for the demonstration, ensuring clinical accuracy.
  • Scriptwriting & Storyboarding: developed an easy-to-follow script that broke the process into clear steps for clinicians.
  • Professional Filming: partnered with a videographer to capture the full procedure in a way that was approachable and educational.
  • Editing & Motion Graphics: polished the footage with graphics, callouts, and transitions to highlight critical details.
  • Distribution Strategy: uploaded the final video to YouTube, embedded it in a dedicated landing page, and paired it with additional oral health resources for clinicians.
